A rain/snow mix is likely across the region, primarily south of Michigan 59, during the afternoon hours Friday as highs reach the 40s, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters expect less than one inch of fresh snow that should mostly stick to grassy surfaces in the nighttime hours.

There is a chance for a passing snow shower Saturday or another wintry mix as highs reach the upper 30s on Saturday across southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters do not expect any snow accumulations Saturday.

By the end of the weekend, temperatures across southeastern Michigan will start warming up, and could hit the 60s early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
