Five Reasons Why Blogging Can Work for You
Dexter Patch is looking for residents and business owners to blog on our website.

Have you heard the news?
Dexter Patch wants to give residents the opportunity to sound off on their own blogs, right on the home page.
We have signed up some great residents to take part already, and their content has already started generating discussion on the site, but more are always welcomed. To see what your neighbors are saying, check out the Local Voices section on Dexter Patch.

Here are five reasons why you should blog on Dexter Patch:
- It’s easy. You can sign up and then with a few clicks of a mouse, you will be able to put your thoughts and expertise on our website.
- The time commitment is up to you. Whether you want to do it daily, weekly or monthly, the time you put into your blog will depend on your schedule.
- It’s your voice. There will be very little editing done to the blog entries. The editor will check for libel and quality issues and may correct a typo and comma, but will not change much on your blog.
- You get to share your knowledge and expertise. Whether your passion is politics, local government, farming, Dexter schools, crocheting, cooking, gardening or music, you have a place blogging for Patch. The sky is the limit.
- You get to meet others with similar interests. You will find people with similar interests and share information, including discussing politics, figuring out new recipes, getting tips about lawn care and learning about the great things happening in the schools.
Are you interested? If so, simply create an account on the site, and click here to get started.
