12 Mile Road Construction Nearly Done: City Says

Construction crews have completed 50% of road work on 12 Mile Road in between Orchard Lake Road and Farmington Road.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — The City of Farmington Hills said on Thursday that construction on 12 Mile Road between Orchard Lake Road and Farmington Road is almost complete.

Construction crews have completed 50% of the project and the rest is expected to be done in early November, the city said.

As of Thursday morning, only one lane in each direction is open.

The Road Commission of Oakland County determined in July to replace asphalt on part of 12 Mile Road between Farmington and Orchard Lake. The $1.75 million project was mostly covered by federal funds, with Farmington Hills covering 10% of that bill.
