• Farmington Toys for Town showcases spirit of the season (hometownsource.com) — Farmington’s Toys for Town program just wrapped its 38th year, providing gifts for more than 500 children in 174 local families through a massive volunteer effort at Farmington High School. Led by the Farmington Police Department and strongly supported by students, businesses, and city leaders, the event has grown from helping two families to becoming a cherished community tradition remembered by recipients decades later.
   

• Michigan nonprofit's goal is to help make caregiving less lonely (theoaklandpress.com) — A Metro Detroit caregiver network meets twice monthly at AgeWays in Farmington Hills, connecting families with vetted senior-care resources and emergency assistance. The nonprofit unites professionals from legal, medical, and home-care fields, raises funds for older adults’ urgent needs, and invites local caregivers, seniors, and service providers to reach out for support or membership opportunities.
