Detroit Driver Takes Up Closet Rod in Farmington Hills 'Road Rage' Incident
None of the drivers involved in the incident on Northwestern Highway will face charges, according to the police report.

Drivers from Detroit and Bloomfield Hills will not face charges after an incident Farmington Hills Police are calling a mutual case of "road rage".
According to the report, the Detroit woman told police that vehicles driven by a Bloomfield Hills couple tailgated and whipped around her as she drove slower than usual on Northwestern Highway last Thursday, while looking for a cupcake shop.
The drivers had conflicting stories about what happened next, but both drove to the J. Alexander's parking lot at 14 Mile and Orchard Lake, where West Bloomfield Township Police intervened.
While the initial call indicated the Detroit woman was waving a silver gun, she told police she reached for a silver closet rod to defend herself, but did not approach anyone with it. According to the report, police did not find a gun at the scene.
