OAKLAND COUNTY, MI ā€” Eastbound Interstate 96 at Novi Road in Oakland County is closed after a gravel hauler struck a car Thursday morning and flipped on its side, according to Michigan State Police. There were no injuries reported by police in the crash.

After the crash, the gravel hauler flipped on its side and scattered debris all over the freeway.

Police did not give a timetable for when the freeway will reopen.
