Free Popcorn Tuesday Returns to the Farmington Civic

Movie lovers planning to take in a show at the Farmington Civic Theater Jan. 7 have a special treat in store: free popcorn. 

The city-owned theater's Facebook page announced the Free Popcorn Tuesday promotion, which coincides with a weather-related closure of Farmington area schools and earlier showtimes on Jan. 7. Anyone who buys a ticket will receive a free medium popcorn. 

The theater opens at 11 a.m. for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, with a showing of The Book Thief at 11:20 a.m. For a full list of shows and times, visit thefct.com or call 248-474-1951.
