Friends of the Library Hosts Farmington Founders Festival Book Sale

Show support for library programs while finding great books at bargain prices.

The Annual Friends of the Farmington Community Library Used Book Sale returns to its location in front of the Merle Norman store, on Farmington Road south of Grand River, during the Downtown Farmington Founders Festival.

The sale will be open Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m., with a bag sale from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

The sale promises something for everyone, with tables full of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books and a large selection from which to choose.

  • Adult hardcover: $2
  • Adult paperback (incl. Romance:) $. 75
  • Oversized paperback (larger than 4x7 in.): $1
  • Children's hardcover: $1
  • Children's paperback: $.50
  • Videocassettes: $.50
  • CDs, DVDs/Video Games and Books-on-tape sets: $1
  • Books on CD: $3
