Troopers said the driver of the Malibu did stop and is cooperating with investigators.

There were no other injuries in the crash, according to police.

Police were still investigating the crash and will submit a report to the prosecutor's office.

"Troopers are investigating the initial cause of the first crash as well as the second pedestrian crash," Michigan State Police First Lt. Mike Shaw said.
