The Warnerettes Parasol Drill Team performed a special tribute to Governor Fred Warner Wednesday during a birthday porch party at the Governor Warner Mansion on Grand River in Farmington.
The city-owned museum houses artifacts from Victorian times and the life of Farmington native Fred Maltby Warner, Michigan's only three-term governor. Warner, who served from 1905-1911 and supported women's suffrage, was born in Hickling, Nottinghamshire, England, on July 21, 1865.
