Fenton Jack R. Winegarden Library officials gave a presentation on the importance of libraries in communities at Monday’s Fenton Township Board of Trustees meeting. Library officials are currently conducting fundraiser efforts to either expand their current building or find a new location, reported the Tri-County Times.

Be a part of the 2012 "Reunion with a Cause" fundraiser on the Holly High School track Friday, August 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Enjoy this FREE evening of family entertainment and fun.

100% of the donations raised by β€œThe Reunion with a Cause” go directly to Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute cancer patients. These funds help pay for items such as patient medicine, co-pays, home health care, equipment and gas that the patients may not be able to afford. The need is great. (Last year $83,000 was raised for this worthy cause.)
