FENTON AREA TOASTMASTERS WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS

Fenton area Toastmasters recognizes two new members. Joshua Gates and Paola Couture.

Joshua is pastor of First Baptist Church in Fenton and has joined Toastmasters with the goal of improving his skills and sharing with the community. He has already given several speeches and competed in two competitions.

Paola, who has recently moved to this country from Mexico with her husband joined Toastmasters to gain a better command of the language and to get over her fears of speaking in public.

Both Joshua and Paola have brought excitement and enthusiasm to the group along with teaching us. Joshua’s style, humor and insights along with Poala’s emotion and power use of pauses are welcome additions to our club.

Joshua Gates and Paola Couture are members of the Fenton Area Toastmaster Club. Fenton Area Toastmasters meets every Friday at the VG's Support Center located at 209 S. Alloy Drive, Fenton, MI 48430, from 7:45-8:45 am. Take Owen Road just East of US-23 to S Alloy Rd (just before Kentucky Fried Chicken) and turn left. Guests are always welcome.
