Fenton Artwalk Seeking Talent

 Feeling artsy?

The Fenton Downtown Development Authority announces the first ever Fenton Artwalk, premiering June 24. The event will allow each participating artist, musician or artisan or any kind to display and sell his or her art in a unique storefront venue.

“Artwalks are incredibly fun events,” says DDA Chairman Craig Schmidt. “They give an entire community the opportunity to mingle, visit their favorite businesses, and see some great local and regional art. We have so much talent in our area of Michigan, and this is a great way to show that off.”

Visitors will be given Fenton Artwalk Passports, which will act as an incentive to visit each storefront, ensuring a maximum impact for all participants.

“During regular art shows artist are smashed together in one spot,” says Schmidt. “At the Fenton Artwalk, each artist will have his or her very own venue and will enjoy an exclusive audience with visitors. It’s also a great opportunity to build a partnerships with a local business.”
