Fenton Resident Wins Elvis Impersonator Contest
Irv Cass takes home crown from Florida casino's Elvis Fest.

Irv Cass, of Fenton, was recently crowned “King” at Florida's Seminole Casino Immokalee’s Elvis Fest 5.
Cass has competed in Elvis Fest for the past five years, but this is his first-time win. He received $2,500. The newly crowned king sang “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling,” “Let It Be me,” and “Suspicious Minds.”
The annual Elvis Fest competition brought a dozen Elvis tribute artists to Immokalee, Fla. to perform their favorite songs in front of hundreds of fans. The artists were judged on musical talent, performance, and overall stage presence evoking the late, great Elvis Presley.

First-time contestant David Morin of Pompano Beach, Fla. won the second place prize of $1,500. He sang “Ready Teddy,” “I Was the One,” and “Shake, Rattle and Roll.” Third place went to Jeff LaJess of Seminole, Fla. He was awarded $1,000. LaJess has competed in every Elvis Fest held at the casino.
