Lake Fenton Boys Win GAC Red Track Title

Several Blue Devils have qualified for state track meet.

The boys won the Genesee Area Conference Red Division Championship Tuesday in Webberville.

The Blue Devils went undefeated in the conference and capped the crown with a victory in the GAC Red meet with 141.5 points. Goodrich finished second with 122 points.

Mitch Bollinger, Matt Hommer, Neil Allor and Max Watters captured the 1,600 relay crown with a time of 3:31.06. Tim Symons won the 110 hurdles in 16.12. Zac Zielinski won the 300 hurdles in 42.67 and Rob Kesler won the 200 yard dash in 23.27. Zielinski, Kesler, Austin Frank and Watters won the 800 relay in 1:32.19. Lake Fenton also won the 3,200 relay.

On the girls side, Alyssa Martin won first in the pole vault and took second in the 100 hurdles.

Several Lake Fenton runners are headed to the state meet as well including, Martin in the 100 meter hurdles, the 400 meter relay team of Kesler, Frank, Matt Holler and Watters, the 800 meter relay team ofΒ  ZielinskiΒ  Kesler,Β  Frank and Watters. Kesler also qualified in the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
