Lake Fenton High School Graduate Dies in Plane Crash

Bryce Frownfelter, a 2012 graduate of Lake Fenton High School and star football player, was one of two men killed in a single-engine plane crash on Wednesday just north of Flint, according to media reports.

Frownfelter, 20, was a passenger on the plane, according to Radio Station WHMI 93.5. The pilot has not yet been identified.

The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash, WHMI reports.

Fenton Township resident Robert Kesler, who told the Tri-County Times his son was Frownfelter's best friend, said Frownfelter was taking flying lessons and was getting ready to start his sophomore year at Western Michigan University.
