Petitions Available for Fenton Mayoral and City Council Election

Petitions are currently available for Fenton's November Mayoral and City Council election.

In November, the mayor's seat along with three City Council positions will be open for election, according to a post on the city's web site.

The deadline to file petitions to the Fenton City Clerk's office is 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13.

To serve on the council or as mayor, the following requirements must be met:

• Must be a City Resident for more than 1 year.
  
• Must be a registered voter in the City of Fenton.
• Must be over 18 years old.
• Must not be in default to the City.
