Ferndale Residents Receive Scholarships at University of Detroit Mercy

The following residents have been awarded scholarships to attend the University of Detroit Mercy:

Germaine Bomar, of Ferndale, has received the University Grant.

Amber Kilanowski, of Ferndale, has received the W. Maybury Berkery Scholarship.

Colin Scott, of Ferndale, has received the O'Grady Scholarship. Scott has also received the UDM General Scholarship.

UDM is one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities and the largest of 16 Mercy institutions of higher education in the United States. For the 12th consecutive year, University of Detroit Mercy is listed in the top tier of Midwest in the 2013 edition of the U.S. News and World Report's "America's Best Colleges."
