• This Ferndale company helped restore the Notre-Dame Cathedral (crainsdetroit.com subscription) — A small creative firm on Hilton Road in Ferndale played a surprising role in restoring Paris’s Notre-Dame Cathedral by turning precise laser scans into a detailed 3D tabletop model. Zoyes Creative, led by Dean and Aimee Zoyes, spent hundreds of hours refining Autodesk’s digital files so they could be accurately 3D printed and displayed at the company’s San Francisco headquarters. 
• WRESTLING: Area's top female wrestlers rise to the top at Macomb Invitational (macombdaily.com) — Ferndale wrestlers made their mark at the Macomb Girls Invitational Classic, with Milayna Shea winning the 115-pound title and several teammates placing in their brackets. The large New Baltimore tournament drew 35 schools from across southeast Michigan, highlighting the rapid growth of girls wrestling and putting Ferndale athletes on a competitive regional stage.
