• Rooted in Culture, Driven by Justice: Inside the Arab American Heritage Council (flintside.com) — Flint residents can learn how the Arab American Heritage Council has spent more than 40 years preserving Arab and MENA culture while providing immigration help and youth leadership opportunities right here in the city. The piece highlights AAHC’s oral history work, partnerships like the Wujud Podcast and FAIR coalition, and ongoing chances for locals to collaborate, volunteer, or seek support. 
• General Motors Puts Finishing Touch On New HQ (mediapost.com) — A once-lost Harry Bertoia sculpture originally created for Genesee Valley Mall in Flint has been restored and installed in General Motors’ new global headquarters in downtown Detroit. The massive metal “clouds” piece, commissioned for the Flint mall in 1970, was rediscovered in Southfield and carefully moved into the new Hudson’s Detroit building as a symbol of GM’s design heritage and resilience.
• Rx Kids expansions on hold (wnem.com) — A major state funding cut has thrown expansion plans for Flint-born Rx Kids into doubt, but organizers say current Flint families will still get promised support. The program, which gives cash to pregnant women and new parents, is stretching existing dollars while warning that future growth to places like Saginaw may stall unless lawmakers restore the money.
