3. Tina Schollaert (thebradentontimes.com) — Family and friends are remembering Tina Schollaert, who was born in Flint and later returned to Michigan after a life of service in several states. Her obituary highlights her deep Christian faith, work as a massage therapist and café owner, and the many relatives and communities she supported through ministry, volunteerism, and everyday kindness.
   

4. Mark Besaw (reporterandfarmer.com) — Family and friends with Flint roots may remember that Mark Robert Besaw, who recently passed away at 61, was born in Flint in 1964 before graduating from Clio High School. Now living in Montrose and working in highway maintenance, he is remembered as a jack of all trades who loved racing, hunting, and fishing.
