A 9-year-old child died after falling into a Grand Rapids river over the weekend, according to police.
GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A 9-year-old child died after falling into a Grand Rapids river over the weekend, according to police.
Officials pulled the child from the water at Riverside Park at 5 p.m. Saturday within several minutes after the youth was reported missing, according to police.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital where the youth later died, according to police.
