Grand Rapids Weekend Weather Forecast

The first half of the weekend looks like rain, but what about Sunday? Find out what the National Weather Service says.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — By now you’ve probably shopped until you’re ready to drop and had enough turkey to last you for at least a year. Time to recoup, relax and enjoy the weekend, even if the weather forecast isn’t looking so hot.

After a beautiful Friday that saw temperatures around 50 degrees, the National Weather Service is predicting a, well, downright icky first half of the weekend in the Grand Rapids area. Here’s a look:

Friday Night: A slight chance of showers between 10pm and 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. South southwest wind 13 to 17 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday: Patchy drizzle. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. West northwest wind 11 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 43. West southwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Sunday Night:Partly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47.
