GROSSE POINTE WOODS, MI — The threat of a potential shooter sent Grosse Pointe North High School into lockdown Monday, according to The Detroit News.

Parents were notified of the incident about 12:30 p.m. after the Grosse Pointe Woods Public Safety Department received word of a possible active shooter at the school, the News reported.

No shooter was found and the school day resumed, according to the News, although parents were cleared to pick up their children or contact the school to dismiss their students early.
