Community Gathers To Celebrate Pierce's 75th Anniversary
A community luncheon hosted by Grosse Pointe Public Schools and Beaumont Hospital was held Tuesday at Pierce Middle School.
Members of the Grosse Pointe community, former Pierce Middle School administrators and staff, along with alumni, came together Tuesday for a community luncheon at the 75-year-old school.
A formal 75th anniversary celebration will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. Tickets are $50, and include adult beverages and dinner. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the restoration of the Pierce auditorium.

- Rufus McGaugh, retired social studies teacher

- Dr. Jack Williams, Pierce alumnus
- Pierce instrumental group and choir
