GP Woods-Shores Little League Majors Team Wins National Title
Following a 0-20 season in 2011, the Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores Little League Majors team advanced through playoffs this year at the district, state and regional level to win the National Pennant against the American League champions.

The Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores Little League Majors team won the National League pennant in a best two of three game series.
The teams, with players ages 9 to 12, advanced at each level of playoffs reaching the national level. They beat the American League Champion Tigers 6 - 5 and 14 - 5 in the best of three game World Series.

This follows a 0-20 season in 2011.
The Dodgers are managed by Jim Dodge along with coaches Tom Mazzola, Jason Hill and Ken Gafa.
