Grosse Pointe South Golfers Advance to State Finals

Blue Devils win Division 1 regional tournament at Tanglewood.

The golf team won the Division 1 regional golf tournament on Thursday at Tanglewood in Northville.

With the victory, the Blue Devils advance to the state finals next week at The Meadows at Grand Valley State.

Claire Boyle led Grosse Pointe South and finished first overall with a 78.

Tenley Shield placed second in the tournament with a 79, and Ella Pendy was third with an 80.

Lilly Pendy was fifth with an 81, and Hannah Buzolits was 15th with an 88.

season ended after the Norsemen finished fourth at the Division 2 regional at Heather Highlands. Ali Scoggin led GPN with a 92.
