Grosse Pointe South to Host Homecoming Friday

Grosse Pointe South's homecoming festivities highlight a weekend of football for local high school teams.

The homecoming parade for Grosse Pointe South steps off at 6 p.m. Friday at Maire Elementary School, and will travel north on Kercheval to the high school. The Blue Devils take the field at 7 p.m. for a game against Roseville. 

The homecoming dance is at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Other games this weekend include

• Grosse Pointe North travels to Cousino for a 7 p.m. game Friday.
• University Liggett  plays at home at 4:30 p.m. against Southfield Christian
