Man, Woman Shot Dead In Possible Harper Woods Murder-Suicide: Police

Investigators believe the shooting was a murder-suicide stemming from a domestic violence incident​, according to police.​​​

HARPER WOODS, MI — A man and a woman were found shot to death in a possible murder-suicide Monday at a home in Harper Woods, according to police.

The shooting happened at a home in the 18500 block of Kenosha Street, near Kelly and Moross, at around 1:30 p.m. Monday, according to police.

Officers found the man and woman, both in their 30s, shot dead at the home, according to police.

After speaking with witnesses at the scene, investigators believe the shooting was a murder-suicide stemming from a domestic violence incident, according to police.

"We are in the preliminary stages of the investigation but are satisfied that there is no additional threat to the greater public at this time," Harper Woods Public Safety Director Jason Hammerle said.
