Music on the Plaza Tonight: Detroit Jazz All Stars

The Detroit Jazz All Stars will perform tonight at at Kercheval Avenue and St. Clair Street. Much of the music will be swing along with jazz.

The All Stars are also known as Marge's Bar Band and includes: Jim Wyse, Johnny Trudell on trumpet and flugelhorn, Chuck Moss on trombone, John Hammer on piano, Bill Bolle on bass and Bob Pinterich on drums.

They perform at in on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. They've also performed at the Michigan Jazz Festival and the Detroit International Jazz Festival along with other locations throughout the metro area.

The free concert opens at 7 p.m. on St. Clair Street near Kercheval Avenue. The street is blocked off during the concert and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs to listen to the live outdoor concert.
