Rummage Sale, Flag Retirement Ceremony, Fire Department Open House Coming up This Weekend

Homecoming for Grosse Pointe North, a flag retirement ceremony and public safety open house are among the events planned for this weekend.

Here are some events to add your calendar this weekend.

  • Grosse Pointe North's homecoming game will be at 7 p.m. Friday. 
  • Grosse Pointe United Methodist Church will hold a rummage sale.
  • The Grosse Pointe Art Center's Nest show will be Friday night.
  • The Louisa St. Clair Chapter, NSDAR will host a flag retirement ceremony on 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Farms Pier Park, 350 Lakeshore Rd. in Grosse Pointe Farms.
  • Grosse Pointe Woods will host a public safety open house from noon -  4 p.m. Sunday. 
  • St. Michael's Episcopal Church will feature a performance Sunday by Stephanie Hamood, a jazz vocalist and guitarist.
