SOC Accepting Extra Halloween Sweets for Seniors
Services for Older Citizens is accepting Halloween candy which will be used for a variety of senior programs.

Did your kids collect bag upon bag of candy Thursday night? Or did you over-purchase candy this year for Halloween?
According to a Facebook post, Services for Older Citizens is accepting extra Halloween candy at its offices at 158 Ridge Rd. Grosse Pointe Farms.
The candy will be used for "a variety of fun activities for our seniors during the holidays," according to the post. The candy is used in the "The Sweet Life" Bingo where all the prizes are treats, party favors for the Thanksgiving and Christmas parties and holiday baskets for local homebound seniors.
