This week's selection for Visions for Vacancies is the site of in . The property housing the vacant building is one of the more spacious lots in all of the Grosse Pointes for development purposes.

Bank of America occupied 20599 Mack Ave. for several years but closed its doors. There is another branch down the road less than one mile away but still in Grosse Pointe Woods.

The property takes up one full city block from Van Antwerp to Lennon and houses a separate, smaller building that was used for a drivethru. It features 26 parking spaces and three driveways for entrance or exit. The parking is offered on both sides of the main building.

According to property records, it is owned by residents of Grosse Pointe Woods and a listing thorugh Mid-America Real Estate Group highlights the high volume of traffic and high visibility the building receives.

Woods building official Gene Tutag said the building is currently zoned as office space but obviously if a commercial business were interested, re-zoning could occur.
