This week Madeline Burgoyne from Pierce Middle School is being recognized for her wide variety of accomplishments.

- Tied for first place in the Pi contest (recited to 425 digits)
- Placed 5th place in RESA in the Who’s the Chemist competition
- Bronze Medal in the Lakeshore Optimists Oratory contest
- Member of the Pierce Social Studies Olympiad Academic All Stars Team
- Participating in the Pierce Relay for Life
- Member of our Jazz Ensemble
- First chair flute at the district level for MSBOA
- Secretary of the National Junior Honor Society
- Takes an advanced math class at South High School
- She is also taking diving lessons
Madeline was nominated by Pierce Middle School Counselor Christine Cramer who compiled the list of her accomplishments and added, "There may be more I am not aware of."
