Fifteen Frederick V. Pankow Center students competed at the Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference in Grand Rapids March 23-25.
The following students earned plaques and/or medals and will advance to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Chicago April 25-29.
- Addison Snoddy, senior from , placed third in Information Technology Concepts, and fifth in Microsoft Network Administration
- Jon Ray, senior at L’Anse Creuse High School, took fourth place in Microsoft Network Administration
- Joe Walsh, senior at L’Anse Creuse High School, earned fifth place in C# Programming
- Mitchel Davis, senior at (attends Pankow Center), took second in C# Programming
“As always, Michigan is one of the most competitive states in BPA, especially in Information Technology events," said Nick Paterni, computer teacher. "As a state, we consistently place very high at the national level.”
