Macomb Gymnast Earns Full Ride to Air Force Academy

Megan Bastuba, of Macomb Township, has accepted a full ride gymnastics scholarship to the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Bastuba trains as a level 10 gymnast at Olympia Gymnastic Academy of Shelby Township, where she is coached by Lori Koch and Deanna Sigler. She was a 2011, level 10 Regional Qualifier, and a 2010 Level 9 Eastern National competitor.

Bastuba attends where she maintains a 4.065 GPA.

While at the academy, she plans to pursue a career in Air Force Intelligence.
