Bites Nearby: New Moon Restaurant

A family-owned Chinese restaurant since 1983, New Moon offers a wide selection of Asian fare for dine-in or take-out.

We all have our favorite dining haunts, and whether we frequent them because of their unbelievable entrees, or out of force of habit, they are at the top of our must-eats list.

We're not asking you to give up your favorite fare, but rather to share your dining tips with Macomb Patch and, if you're feeling especially adventurous, try someting new on the recommendation of a neighbor.

Each week, Macomb Patch editors and readers will pick a great restaurant either in town or nearby whose cuisine is considered to reign supreme.

Greatest Dish Ever: General Tso's Chicken and a cup of Wonton soup
Don't Miss: The lunch menu. Running from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday, you won't find a price higher than $6.
The Vibe: It's the epitome of privacy. High-backed booths line the walls and make you feel as though you are the only customer in the place.
Cool Factor: On your first visit to New Moon, you become a regular. The owners, who usually work the cash register up front, will remember your face and greet you as an old and very dear friend.
