Cougars Make Bid for State Semis

It’s a big game.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, Macomb Dakota’s football squad hopes to move one step closer to a state championship when they battle Detroit Cass Tech at home.

The Cougars punched their ticket to the regional round with a 31-8 thumping of Macomb Area Conference foe, Eisenhower High School, last week. Meanwhile Cass Tech made short work of Dearborn Fordson 45-13.

The winner advances to the state semifinals next weekend against Saline or Canton high schools.
