Central Michigan University student killed in hit-and-run accident in Mount Pleasant

A Macomb Township family is mourning the loss of their son, killed in a hit-and-run early Sunday morning in Mount Pleasant.
According to the Macomb Daily, Ryan Tsatsos, 17, a freshman at Central Michigan University was killed while walking with friends to his residence hall in the rain on a dark two-lane road near the campus of Central Michigan University.
The drive struck Tsatsos and drove off.

The tragedy comes just three months after Tsatsos’ brother, Darryl, was killed in an automobile accident in Macomb Township.
Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the hit-and-run driver.

According to the Michigan State Police, the vehicle is described as an older four-door that is dark in color.
