Pita Pit Set to Open First Macomb Location at 23 Mile and Romeo Plank
Known for its fresh and healthy pitas, Pita Pit is opening a new location in the plaza across from St. Isidore Catholic Church in Macomb Township.

Macomb Township diners will soon have a healthier fast food option with the arrival of Pita Pit, a meal-on-the-go chain that specializes in Lebanese-style pitas.
Work crews are continuing interior renovations of the storefront at 50966 Romeo Plank and signage out front notifies passing drivers of the restaurant's imminent arrival.
Advertised as a "alternative to fast food restaurants—a place with great tasting food that’s healthy, fresh, and still served fast," Pita Pit stores typically serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Breakfast pitas are served with eggs, hashbrowns and a variety of grilled vegetables, while diners have the option of meat or veggie pitas for lunch, dinner or as a midnight snack. The Macomb location has not announced its hours, but other Pita Pit locations across the state generally stay open until 10 p.m. or later every night of the week.
