Woman Killed In Crash On M-53 In Macomb County: Sheriff
Police were still trying to determine what led up to the crash.
ROMEO, MI — A woman was killed in a Monday crash on M-53 in Macomb County, according to the sheriff's office.
The crash happened Monday morning on northbound M-53 near 32 Mile Road in Romeo, and involved a white Chevy Express van and a semi truck, officials said.
The driver of the Chevy, 49-year-old Michelle Castanos, from Bruce Township, was killed in the crash, officials said.

The driver of the semi truck was not injured and no one else was hurt in the crash, officials said.
