2 Women Arrested in Connection With Thefts from Kohl's

Women cited on third-degree retail fraud charges.

Northville Township Police responded March 16 to Kohl’s, 20155 Haggerty Road, for a report of two women in custody on suspicion of shoplifting, according to a police report.

The store’s loss prevention officer told police he saw the women select merchandise from the Juniors area, head into the Juniors fitting room and conceal the items in their purse, and then try to leave the store without making an effort to pay for the items, the report indicated.

Police arrested both women on charges of third-degree retail fraud and officers recovered the property from the women’s purses.
