1. Northville weather

Rain is expected before 4 p.m. After that, rain and snow are expected with a high around 42 degrees. In the evening, snow showers are likely, mainly before 7 p.m. with a low temperature around 19.

2. Gas prices

The lowest reported gasoline price in the Northville area – according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com – is $3.45 per gallon. That price is reported to be available at two stations: the BP station at Seven Mile and Beck roads and the Mobil at Six and Haggerty roads. 3. Event: School board candidate interviews

Tonight, the Northville school board three of who are vying for a board appointment . The interviews will begin at 6 p.m. in Room 302 of the school board offices, located at 501 W. Main St. 

4. This day in history

On this day in 1994, the 6.7 magnitude Northridge earthquake hit California, killing 54 people and causing $20 billion in damage, according to History.com.
