Northville School Board Selects 2 Finalists For Interim Seat

After public discussion, they voted to bring Cyndy Jankowski and William Bryan back for second interviews next week. Using a point system, Jankowski had the most highest score of the two.
At a meeting at 6 p.m. at on Jan. 24, prior to the general school board meeting at 7:30 p.m., the board will interview the finalists. Then they will pick one to fill a seat , who resigned last month. Her term is up in November 2012. If the appointed member wants to stay on the board, they will have to run for election.

Earlier in the evening, the board heard from six candidates, including Jankowski and Bryan. They also interviewed Michael Nolta, Roland Hwang, Michael Barrett and Lynn O'Meara. On Tuesday, the board heard from Alexander Moroz and Kristina Dunne.
Prior to the vote, board members gave reasons for why they were voting for the candidates they supported.
