Vandalism Depicting George Washington As Clown Reported at Stampeddler Building

Northville Police responded March 9 to the Stampeddler building, 145 N. Center St., for a report of vandalism, according to a police report.

The business owner told police a resident who lives above the business reported graffiti on the side of the building, the report indicated.

According to the report, there was a printed picture of George Washington from a $1 bill about five square feet in size with Washington’s hair colored red and a red circle forming a clown nose on Washington’s face.

The paper was applied to the wall with an adhesive, the report indicated, and pieces of an orange bucket were located beneath the image. The lower-right corner of the picture had the name “Psilo” painted in black spray paint, the report indicated.

According to the report, the northwest corner of the building also had the letters “SE” written with black spray paint.

According to the report, police have no witnesses or suspects.
