Children Invited to 'Twinkle Toes' Party in Twelve Oaks

Families are invited to the free Twinkle Toes: The Movie launch party in Center Court at l in Novi on Saturday, Aug. 4 from noon to 4 p.m.

Twelve Oaks is the only Michigan mall hosting the DVD release event, according to a press release. 

Free Twinkle Toes activities include coloring with glitter crayons, temporary tattoos and bedazzle crafts at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., which includes decorating pink tote bags with jewels while supplies last. Children can take free dance lessons to the Twinkle Toes soundtrack, following featured dance performances at noon and 2 p.m. by students from studio in Farmington Hills. Families at the event can register for the chance to win a Twinkle Toes prize package from Skechers.

Inspired by the best-selling Kids footwear line, Twinkle Toes: The Movie is a fun-filled adventure that will make audiences want to get up and dance. Grace "Twinkle Toes" Hastings has a big secret: she gets terrible stage fright in front of anyone except her fluffy friend Walter. As Grace works to overcome her fears, and makes some friends at her new school, she discovers that it's OK to be herself and shine. Twinkle Toes: The Movie debuts exclusively on DVD on July 31 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
