Gatt Seeking Fourth Term As Novi Mayor

NOVI, MI — A lot of decisions will be made in Novi on Election Day, Nov. 7. Mayor Bob Gatt is seeking a fourth term, but is facing a challenge from Jason Dorsch and Bin Qamruzzaman.
Voters will also be asked to pick three council member from among seven candidates. Incumbents Andrew Mutch, Gwen Markham and Brian Burke are hoping to retain their seats while Kelly Breen, Cindy Gronachan, Sam Olsen and Bryan Valentine are making their own bids for councils.
The Novi Community Schools do not have any issues before voters on Tuesday. Novi residents that attend Northville schools, however, will help decide on a $104.85 million bond proposal.

Funds from the bonds would be used to construct additions, technology and improving playgrounds and athletic fields, among others.
