Linda Daly Resigns as Novi Chamber Director

Linda Daly has resigned from her position as executive director for the effective Friday.

She served in the position for five years.

"I've really thoroughly enjoyed working for them and being the director. I think I've especially enjoyed working with the local business owners. But I've decided I'm ready to take the next step in my career, so I've taken a position with Paradise Park," Daly said.

Daly will serve as the director of corporate sales and marketing for , an indoor/outdoor entertainment center in Novi with miniature golf, laser tag, go karts and more.

"I'm excited that I'm still working in the Novi community, and I definitely plan to support the new leadership at the chamber and hopefully contribute to the chamber as a member," Daly said.

Chamber of the Board Jeff Wilk stated in an email about Daly's resigning that Events Manager Sheryl Romzek will to step into the role of interim executive director while the Chamber's board does a search for a new director.

Wilk added that the Chamber is sorry to lose Daly, but they are excited for her new job.

"Her passion for helping the business community will be missed. Linda has been with us for over five years and was instrumental in the transition of the Novi Chamber(s) merger, initially as our marketing director and then eventually as the Executive Director," Wilk stated in the email.
