Logistics Firm Bringing 92 Jobs, $8.1M Investment To Novi

Lineage Logistics LLC plans to move its headquarters operations from Irvine, Calif. to Novi.

NOVI, MI — A warehousing and logistics company is moving to Novi, bringing 92 jobs and an $8.1 million investment with it. Lineage Logistics LLC plans to move its headquarters operations from Irvine, Calif. to Novi.

The move will bring the company closer to its midwest and eastern customer base, according to a news release from the Michigan Economic Development Corp. An $850,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant helped lure Lineage Logistics to Novi over a city in Illinois, Crain’s Detroit Business reported.

Lineage focuses on delivering dependable cold chain solutions to leading food, retail, agriculture and distribution companies. According to the company’s website, it serves customers who “put a premium on excellence and reliability to ensure our nation’s food supply is handled, stored and delivered safely and securely through the entire supply chain.”

A timeline for the move was not reported. Lineage’s services include warehousing, port operations, importing and exporting, re-distribution, manufacturing and high-pressure processing.
