Novi Mayor Endorses Kennedy for House Seat

Bob Gatt has endorsed Nick Kennedy for the neighboring 39th District.

Novi Mayor Bob Gatt has endorsed Wixom business owner Nick Kennedy as the Republican candidate for the State House of Representatives, according to a press release.

Kennedy is running for the Republican nomination in the 39th District in the primary on Aug. 7. The new 39th District includes Commerce Township, Wolverine Lake, West Bloomfield and Wixom. Novi is in the 38th District.

“Nick Kennedy is a Great American,” Gatt said. “Nick will be a great addition in
Lansing. I can’t wait to work with him and our Representative, Hugh Crawford (R-38th Distinct), on joint local ventures to help stimulate business in our local area.”

Kennedy is running against Republicans Albert Clawson, Brad Hantler, Klint Kesto, Bubba Urdan and Kristine Zrinyi. Democratic cadidates are Pam Jackson and Regina Strong.

“I am grateful for Mayor Gatt’s support,” Kennedy said. “Bob is a friend, and we will do great things together for Novi, Wixom, Commerce Twp., Wolverine Lake and West Bloomfield. It’s time to stimulate our local economy and to help create more jobs.”
